Dear readers, we’ve just learned of a great new job opening we wanted to bring to your attention. The Department of History at James Madison University is looking for qualified applicants to fill a position in U.S. History with a specialization in 20th Century Hispanic, Latino, Chicano Diaspora.
The position begins in August 2016 and the successful candidate will enter an an assistant professor, tenure track. The school is located in Virginia about two hours from Washington, D.C. Teaching experience is important; the successful candidate will be expected to lead U.S. and World surveys among other courses.
